PRONOUNS: SHE/HER OR THEY/THEM

Masters art therapist intern

I am a graduate student at Notre Dame of Maryland University, where I am currently pursuing a Masters of Art in Art Therapy. Most recently, I served as the art therapist intern at Creative Psychological Health Services, LLC., a private practice in Frederick, Maryland. I have six years of experience working with children and adolescents and I am excited to continue working with young people and adults from a clinical perspective. My areas of interest include anxiety, depression, ADHD, LGBTQIA+, and sensory perception differences.

*All included artworks are solely my original work

Philosophy

Much like who we are and how we experience the world is unique, self-expression can take limitless forms. By tapping into the creative parts of ourselves, we can learn more about what makes us unique and powerful. I honor that each client is the expert of their own life, and as such, seek to co-create a space for growth and self-efficacy in the therapeutic process. I believe that everyone can benefit from the practice of art making.

Using an art-based approach allows me to work alongside clients as they explore their strengths, work towards their goals, and navigate life’s challenges. I value a relational aesthetic that values art making for its ability to build and maintain healthy relationships with the self, with others, and with the broader community.
